Hello, I was wondering if one of the pre amp tubes needs to be balanced and if so which one is it?

Hi Slade! No need to balance the tubes for the Colossus. Just set any of 12AX7/ECC83/7025 in any socket, any combination.

A few things things to mention:
• Be careful and hold the tubes PCB tight, don't allow it to bend while replacing the tubes
• Wait 10 minutes after disconnecting the power source from the preamp to perform any manipulations with it

I’ve owned this for over a year now and use it constantly so I know that the tubes will need to be changed in the future. I love this preamp!
